I had a excellent experience with Old Town Outfitters. My kids surprised me with a trip to Guatemala. They scheduled three different tours with Old Town Outfitters during our stay. Our first tour was the Kayak and hike at Lake Atitlan. It was wonderful! The water and the scenery were beautiful! The hike did not disappoint! The hike had beautiful views, cool rocks and scenery. Pablo was our guide and he was awesome! Afterwards, we all had lunch together at Casa Del Mundo, where we were staying, and recapped our fun day. The other two tours I have reviewed separately are Sip and Cycle to Coffee Plantation and Hike to Pacaya. If you are coming to Guatemala and want to get the feel of the culture, get outside, get exercise, and learn about the history of this wonderful country, I highly recommend Old Town Outfitters. They are very professional and helpful no matter what your interest. Chris was very helpful to my son giving him plenty of options for our family. We will definitely be back to mountain bike ride! I hope Pablo and Chris will both join us! Thank you for a wonderful birthday!

Are double kayaks an option for kids?
Yes, we have both single and double kayak options. Doubles are great for family trips where kids can ride along with an adult.
What about whitewater trips?
We offer whitewater rafting trips during the rainy season (usually April to Oct). Shoot us a message and we can share more details.
